Choosing your size;

Product part numbers last 3 numbers indicate size. e.g. 517 ia a 50 degree 0.017" orifice while a 117 is a 10 degree 0.017" orifice. Both these tips have the same orifice size and flow rate with different fan widths.

An easy way to estimate fan widths from the tip size angle is to double the first digit of the degrees which is close to the tips fan width when held at 12 inches from the surface.

• 10 degree is 2 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
• 20 degree is 4 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
• 30 degree is 6 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
• 40 degree is 8 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
• 50 degree is 10 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
• 60 degree is 12 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
• 70 degree is 14 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
• 80 degree is 16 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
• 90 degree is 18 inches wide @ 12 inches from a surface
